On my MyBB forum I want to make so the moderators can put users in some groups, such as an VIP group I'm having. But that they can't put anybody in moderators group and higher groups.

I know I can make them able to go admin CP, but I don't want to make them able to change anything else than those groups

I wonder if there is any plugin for this?

I think that you need to make them ACP Accessable. You can give them JUST THAT.

ACP > users and groups > groups > moderators > options > edit group > check the box that say access to admin control panel > save
ACP > users and groups > admin Permissions > choose the moderator you want to edit > edit his Permissions to only edit the groups,uers,etc..
and do it on all of your mods , this should work

That does open a potential security hole in that moderators are then able to promote themselves. You might not want that.

Of course, you should only have trustworthy moderators etc etc etc. But that is what the OP meant I think.
