I noticed yesterday that i'm unable to use two domains on one mybb installation because of the cookie domain. I have a few questions about this if anyone would be kind enough to help me out.

I've heard that having two domains link to the same place is not a good idea because and i quote what i was told "google does not like it". I've been told its better to redirect one domain and have one primary domain. Is this true?

If using 2 domains is better how would i go about doing this with mybb?

Use different cookie prefixes, that will solve the problem.

Yes, you want as much unique content as possible. So having under one domain would be the best. Regarding how to do it the best would be a 301 redirect in your .htaccess (google will give you an explanation and example).
