Hello there!

I am currently playing around with mybb and was wondering if it is possible to restrict reputation giving/receiving to posts in a specific forum only?

Admincp -> Forums & Posts -> Yes, allow threads to be rated

Tick that for the forums you want to allow reputation to be given / received.

Untick that for the forums you don't want to allow reputation to be given / received.

Hm that makes me wonder: I saw thread rating as something with 5 stars (I disabled that, because I dont intend to use it), is this another thing or is it related to the reputation system?

Actually thinking about it my previous answer probably is for the star rating.

I don't think this is a core feature in mybb, you'd need to request a plugin and see if someone will make it for you here: http://community.mybb.com/forum-65.html

I also read about some alternative Reputation/Karma Systems, do you know on top of your head if they have this function? Then there would be no need to ask for a new plugin

Tough I will reccomend to disable post reputations and go with a plugin instead.
