Hi folks,

I just finished the installation and configuration of the google seo mod. However, I just run into a strange problem.

On the Plugin status page, I got the message that:

Add to .htaccess:

But the thing is that the above part is already in my .htaccess file. In fact, I copied everything from the htaccess.example.txt, which is included in the mod installation package. FYi, my .htaccess file is as follows:

BTW, as far as the file on the server, I have replaced "yoursite" with my actual domain.

Sometimes the message remains there. If you've added it to your htaccess, it should be fine.

Thanks for your message Vernier, b/cI just thought perhaps I missed something. So when that happens, do you think it will disappear eventually if I wait for like a couple of days or it will be there like forever?

When I was running the Google SEO plugin, it stayed there all the time I ran it.

I wouldn't worry about it.

It'll show up if you don't have the exact same line in your .htaccess - so different capitalization, an extra space, etc. can make it show up and you'll have to copy&paste the rules as shown to make the message go away.

The example file is just that - an example. It's there to give people, who've never worked with .htaccess before, an idea of what it should look like in the end...
