Did that now, but guess what still getting that error message.

Are you sure you've downloaded the correct release?

yes i did, the problem might have that i first tried to upgrate via softculous & it didn't work so then i did the manual upgrade.

Did you download the changed files or the full version of MyBB?

changed files only.

Perhaps try the full version, see if that solves your problem. You should backup the database, just in case something does go wrong during installation. Better to be safe than sorry.

that option is kept for last, if nothing could be done then only will choose that.

Did you choose 1.6.7 in the upgrade page when you were upgrading?
