Hey, I have a question.

My forums were recently hacked and taken down, database was also deleted, and a misconfiguration in my laptop removed the back-up servers I had. Blah, blah, blah, just read the topic I made for some information.

So I'm getting really protective now. I want to know; is there any way I can remove the "Admin CP" tab on my forums?



I just want to do this in case one of the passwords are leaked/cracked, so they don't know how to access the ACP. It could be a different link! Or is it? We could be just messing around with your minds and torturing you.

Of course, I'm not going to say, but basically, is there any way to remove that tab from all administrative accounts?

go to inc/config.php
find this:
$config['admin_dir'] = 'admin';

/**
* Hide all Admin CP links
* If you wish to hide all Admin CP links
* on the front end of the board after
* renaming your Admin CP directory, set this
* to 1.
*/

$config['hide_admin_links'] = 0;

^
set this to 1 and it's done
