i see this error ?

go to your ftp
ftp > forum > newthread.php
right click change the chmod to 644
You can change chmod settings from your file explorer/FTP built into your hosts control panel or from dreamweaver from remote via right click edit, permissions. But I very much doubt this is a chmod problem. If you go to tools and maintance run a check on your install.

You shouldn't play with your forums main directory chmod settings once proper installed and I'm not sure if 644 is correct. It may simply be a cookie problem or a more complicated .htaccess redirect issue. It's tuff to say without knowing your setup and situation details.
