My friend Wally and I have recently acquired a new domain that we would like to use for our forums, Script Station. The original link was http://scriptstation.cppsgang.com/ .

I was told to edit settings.php, but at the top of the file, it said not to, and to use the Settings editor/General configuration. I'm cool with that. So, I did that, and edited the domain to http://ircserv.info/. However, when I went to my domain (ircserv.info) it just showed the basic page for my web hosting provider when nothing is added. I got nervous something like this would happen.

So, I went to the original domain [scriptstation.cppsgang.com] and it was all ruined.

I don't want to have to refresh the database AGAIN and re-build Script Station. Can someone help me, please?
Have you uploaded the files to your new host? Generally you get there default page when no file exists on the server. Check you've uploaded it to public_html, www or .htdocs.

The reason your current theme on http://scriptstation.cppsgang.com/ doesn't work correctly is because the Board URL is incorrect (it's pointing to http://ircserv.info).
This is not related to MyBB configuration, I think.

You have to configure your DNS settings in the Domain Control Panel of your domain name registrar.
Remember, DNS change requires time (upto 72 hrs) to reflect globally.
It seems my host is making me wait 28 days before I can FULLY transfer it.

Wonderful. Thank you all, anyway.
