.htaccess.txt isnt executed on your server unless you go to yourdomain.com/.htaccess.txt
Get a fresh copy of htaccess.txt from your mybb install folder.
I deleted "install" folder

Sorry guess i said it wrong. Get a fresh copy of MyBB and get htaccess.txt file. Then htaccess.txt file needs to be renamed to .htaccess.
