I previously posted in the version 1.2 discussion that the default size of avatar for a new install of 1.2 was 10x10. I performed a new install of version 1.1.7 yesterday and again, the default size of avatar was 10x10.

Since this information is inserted into the table(s) at installation time, I was wondering if just by changing the value in whatever php file is used for inserting initial data, the avatar size issue could be quickly corrected?

Why do you need to change it in any file when you can just change it in settings?
Admin CP -> Board settings -> Change -> User Registration and Profile Options -> Maximum Avatar Dimensions
