Hey there,
I used mybb 1 year ago, its awesome, i never got problem.
But now i'm getting some problem like:-

Quote:Precondition Failed

The precondition on the request for the URL /install/index.php evaluated to false.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I'm using mybb 1.6
I've uploaded script well.
I've created MySQL database & user also.
But at installation when it ask for Hostname, DB, DB username, password i filled it correctly and i procced to next, then i got above error.

So please help me on this problem asap.

It could bbe the file cause where did u get 1.8 I can not find it anywhere

^Ohh Sorry my mistake, its not mybb1.8 its mybb1.6

try re uploading or if you have cpanel and have softacilous use that to auto install it and you don't have to create it your self

^i tried it by reuploading but getting same error.
And yes i've cpanel
but where can i find this softacilous?? plzzzz help !!!
And if i dont have it then how can i create it???? plzzz help !!

Well it should show just look for an Icon with that name because all cpanel clients have it cause my host does and I'm a reseller so I know that.

CGI Center
Site Software
Perl Modules
PHP PEAR Packages
PHP Configuration
Optimize Website

Contact your host.

yes they must not have the auto installer
