I just created my board and have just roughly set up some categories and forums just now to see how it goes but I expect I will expand upon some when it becomes more active.

For example I have an entertainment forum. When it becomes more active I'll make a different forum or sub-forums like "movies" or "music".

Is there a fast way to do this in the future like a plug-in? So I don't have to manually move every thread to different forums?

You can use the select boxes against each thread in the forum display. There is also a select all box which when clicked asks you whether you want to select all the threads in the forum.
