Hi, i have a little question, about adding new themes.-

Always its necesary if you add a new theme, disable all the plugins and then re-activate to get load to the new theme
Or there are an option and i don't see it ?

Thank you very much.-
no there is no such thing
just move the theme files to the ftp
and import the .xml file
then use the theme as default
done!
Yes that works perfect, but, why the plugins not work in the new theme? I mean, the functions of the plugins are not added to the "php" files of the theme.
That because im in the dude, if im doing something wrong this 4 years jaja or the only way its desactivate and activate all the plugins to get "load" to the new theme.-
Some plugins add variables to templates. If you install the theme after you install the plugins then the variables are not there. OP s correct - the only time where it "won't matter" is if a plugin is using find and replace - and even then, if the template is very altered it still won't work.

So you need to deactivate/activate or manually add the variables.
Thats the right thing the "Variables" ok im in the correct, if the theme add variables, you must add it manually or desactivate/activate de plugins.-

Thank you very much people for the help and solving my big dude
