I have realised something about the search function on forums.

It gives a new page with

Quote:Thank you, Your search has been submitted, You will now be taken to the results

Or something like that

Can we remove that, please, it's irritating

http://mybbhacks.zingaburga.com/showthread.php?tid=264 is a plugin to do that in the meantime. Though I agree, the friendly redirection there is a plain waste of time.
