OK so i am using this forum software on my webhosting service. The way i have it looking and setup makes it look exactly like IPB 3.

Now when i post anything or anyone posts you get something like this.

A zero tolerance suspension means there are no second chances. You will
not get your files back, your account will never be unsuspended. To
earn a zero tolerance suspension you would need to break one of the
rules in the terms of service you agreed to when signing up with us.<br>
<br>
Some people will ask, why can't I get my files back or a backup of my
account? Please realize that we are offering this service 100% for
free. I will not allow our staff to waste their valuable
time dealing with someone who has failed to follow the few simple rules
that would result in a zero tolerance suspension. Using our service is
a privilege and not a right. When you decide to break the rules you
lose that privilege in its entirety.<br>

Now thats an actual post from my web hosting forum and if you notice it shows the "<br>" Tags when i make a post. This happened yesterday so i thought it was a problem with the forums because i had changed the theme and still had the same result.

So today i reinstalled the forums and tried again. Yet the same thing happened.

Please fix this. It dosnt bug me but it dosnt help the look of my forums. I dont think anyone is going to like having those tags show up in the forum when they post.

The same thing happens when you reply to a topic.
Could you please provide a testing account?
Yes as soon as i can access my site again so i can create the test account i will.

OK the test account is

user: test
Pass: test123
When your posting don't use <br> just press enter.
I did press enter. Thats what happens when i publish the post.

When i publish the post instead of it being a space it puts in <br>
Admincp -> Tools & Maintenance -> File Verification -> Yes

Can you list any files that show in red please
Nothing is in red but there are 2 missing things it says.

File Verification: Found Problems
File Status
inc/plugins/akismet.php Missing
inc/plugins/hello.php Missing

That is all that it found.
Ok, try disable all plugins, just to rule that out of the potential causes.

Admincp -> Configuration -> General Settings -> Disable All Plugins -> Yes
All plugins are disabled and still the same.

Quote:Disable All Plugins
Setting this to yes will disable all plugins without deactivating or uninstalling them. This is equivalent of manually defining NO_PLUGINS at the top of init.php.

I have set this to Yes saved the settings but the problem still exitsts.
Could you try set the editor back to the default one please?
