move the /forum folder to my desktop
change the cookie path/forum dir from my ACP
remove it from my ftp
upload the files again to the root

hm i moved all the files back now i don't think it is gone help
but anyway check your inbox.

Glad that its solved, but the forum working fine after you moved the files back to same directory means you have not changed the path (board url and cookie path's) correctly.
