Hello i am trying to register an alt account on my forums and it says on this on the mail

There's no activation email
Admin CP > Configuration > User Registration and Profile Options > Registration Method > Send Email Activation
Are you using the default English language pack or an alternative?
I already use send email activation method. Thing is that there is no activation link on the email
As vernier said, are you using the default English language pack? This definitely looks like an issue with your language files missing certain parts.
Where do i find which pack ;s
If you'd changed it, you'd know. Try re-upload the contents of the ./inc/languages/ folder from a fresh download.
re-uploaded one but still the same problem.. well is it better for me to use instant activation?
i have saw this problem with couple of guys and no one got any solution here is my guess
1-hosting problem
2-the email service(hotmail,yahoo,etc..) block this sort of emails every while
3-the email service user is using a anti spam service or spam blocker
4-you got a plugin that is causing this
here is my suggestion to define the problem
back up your db and your files
then move it to a free hosting and import the db then test
if it worked then it is a hosting problem if it is not working then
it is one of the other 3 reasons..
