I'm trying to install this mod, however after uploading the files and clicking install, I get the following error:

MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
1146 - Table 'nightclo_ww.mybb_mybb_settinggroups' doesn't exist
Query:
INSERT INTO mybb_mybb_settinggroups (`gid`,`name`,`description`,`disporder`,`isdefault`) VALUES ('NULL','Thread Descriptions Settings','Settings for smethead\'s \'Thread Descriptions\' plugin.','20','no')

That plugin is for MyBB 1.2. It won't work on MyBB 1.6

I would advise using the Google SEO plugin instead which up to date, stable, and is more reliable.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that wasn't really what I was looking for (although I have installed that mod for SEO purposes).

Whoops, I must have read the thread wrong. I thought you were looking for a thread meta description plugin.

I'm not sure if there's an updated plugin to achieve what you're trying to do, but it's certainly possible with XThreads.
