In some plugins when only basic MyCode should be parsed (b,i,u,url, etc.) developers have to write custom MyCode parser to prevent parsing all of them.
The Parser class options should include black and white list of allowed MyCodes to parse.

Yes please. I could have made use of this a few times.
We could also then get rid of the parameter to explicitly allow/disallow the video mycode as we could either whitelist or blacklist it. I'm actually now thinking I've seen a similar discussion in the past, though I can't remember exactly when or the eventual outcome of said discussion.
