I had latest board version up and running briefly, but running real well after several admin configurations and logins/logouts etc.
Was using plugin uploader and got big time failure error for Nickstyles plugin, board froze and could not escape admin panel unless hard crash screen delete - but not before looking at home page on internet in another tab where the page source was completely blank - absolutely nothing.
Viewed root index file (homepage), via ftp and it's all there. Not making connection of root index.php and app function call for it.
History - downloaded/installed latest myBB version Tuesday night without a hitch. Super board up until failure from plugin install!

htaccess blocking 1 ip address htaccess.txt is quite a large file from plugin installs... hostmonster allows gzip.
If I reinstall - will I have to add the plugins again and configure board over?
Any ideas? Haven't added any content, have added 20-30 plugins /configured.
