When I login I get a 'succesfull login'-message en am redirected to the login page. End of story.
There is no login action and the loginscreen is as fresh as it is for a new user.

Is there a way to get out of this circle and start with the work?

This sounds like bad cookie settings. Try logging into the admin area and see what the cookie settings are set to and make sure that they are set to your domain and that the name is unique.

Also try clearing your cookies because it might just be a problem with your specific cookies.

I cleared out the cookies and the cookie settings in MyBB.
