Good advice from Koz too, I think the logo is a tricky area, you could try gimp software to tweak your images.

I will check out the spam protection (thanks Koz), I have a lot of spam registrations and my current plugins stop genuine users so I have had to turn it off (no spam posting luckily, just lots of banning).

Thank you Dharma i will do. Im in talks with a mybb member about a new logo and theme so hopefully it will look better if thats possible.
