Hey guys.
I have tried to activate SEF urls, but is not working.

I recieve "404 error" and i dont know why

Did your rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess?

i have allready read on google and here.
yes i have rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess
i have enable from CP
i have mod rewrite
i have original .htaccess

nothing works..

Make sure that your rewritebase rules are correct since some hosts used a virtual directory and others don't (hence why it doesn't work more then likely).

well i own a vps bro were i have mybb uploaded and installed.
if is this the issue, you know how to fix it, please?

What operating system and web server do you have installed? I am going to assume you are using ubuntu and Apache, in which case you can try running this command:

sudo a2enmod rewrite

If you don't have ubuntu and Apache (HTTPD on Fedora and Cent os), just search for a guide on how to activate Mod rewrite on Google. For example, "activate mod_rewrite on Centos"

Make sure you have AllowOverride All set in your httpd.conf, especially if you're using a virtual host.

Yes i found that.
And i have did the modifcation and now works.
