Hello,

I am having a problem here: http://forumtesting.net78.net/mybb/index.php

When I click on a forum, sub forum or a forum category, I get my hosting provider's error 404 page.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Is that what you really got?

Did anyone else get a warning?
Go to your ACP>Configuration>Setting>General Configuration>Change the forum url to http://forumtesting.net78.net/mybb

People get the warning because you are on a subdomain so don't worry.
Hi,

The forum URL is already set as that...?

If the forum URL is already set to your current URL then update your nameservers to your new hosting.
Hi, I don't have any new hosting/name servers.

Does anyone else have any ideas hat could be causing this? I think also members' profiles get a 404 error too.
Any ideas?
You have enabled the search friendly urls but you do not have the needed rewrites in htaccess. Either disable search friendly urls in AdminCP > Configuration > Server and Optimization Options or add the needed rewrites to your .htaccess. The rewrites can be found in the htaccess.txt file in the root folder.
If you already have the rewrites in your .htaccess and still get the 404 then it is possible that your host has either disabled rewrites or disabled htaccess all together so check with your host in that case.
Before, in the mybb root folder, I saw htaccess.txt, so I renamed it .htaccess, aren't you meant to do that?

I have disabled friendly URLs and it has been fixed!

Thanks!!
