I would like to see
this implemented in the next release. Maybe it is too late, no sure how I forget about this.
+1 from me, seems like and easy thing to implement and would be quite useful.
Well you can install a different admin theme in myBB and although personally I prefer the admin interface to be as minimalist as possible I don't see this as an issue as long as there is the option to revert to the current theme.
