I get this message "No input file specified" when I try to post a new thread. I just started this website and trying to get it started up. I created a category and a forum within that category and when I try to post a new thread I get this message on a blank screen. here's the link http://www.golfspit.com/newthread.php?fid=5
I also get this when I try to send a private message to another member.
I am running the latest version as I just downloaded the software from mybb and installed it yesterday. What do I need to do. Also be aware that i'm a noob to web coding and language Smile
Any help needed, thanks
This seems to be a misconfiguration with IIS. I'm not a Windows user, and have never used Windows as a server, but maybe this will help you:

If you do not own the server I advise you contact your web host and reference the error you're receiving. They should be able to help you more in-depth (and even resolve it if they're familiar with their systems).

I checked that out and it went right over my head, will try to contact host and see what they can do.

I called the host (godaddy) and they couldn't find anything wrong, I have all the requirements to run mybb. I am now at a complete loss Sad
If I cant figure it out, I guess I will be uninstalling mybb and finding a different software to run.

It's not a MyBB issue. It seems to be a common issue with GoDaddy but they have failed to fix it.

Thanks for the info, I'm trying out their approved web apps to see if I can get any of them going. I might drop godaddy after my month is up and transfer to a new host.
