problems:

1. the forum is viewed very strange in mozilla ff and ie. very weird.
2. i can't actually log-in, when it takes the user back he's not logged!

3. btw- what's the best chars encoding for Hebrew?
have you just done the mybb1.2 update
yep. it's mybb 1.2
Huh that's weird, the css content-type is text/html.
Make sure you have "header("Content-type: text/css");" in your css.php file. anywhere above the echo.
Or try uploading css.php again.
k thx!

then how come in ie it's shown well?

can you explain thoroughly what to do?

and why can't i login...

QUICK EDIT : I re-uploaded CSS folder, CSS.php file and it didn't hit it..
Probably because IE is weird.
I'm not sure what you should do as I don't have your css.php file. Also try changing in Admin CP -> Board settings -> Change -> Server and Optimization Options -> CSS Medium -> Change to Stored in the file system (In the 'css' folder)
First you need to CHMOD your css folder on your server to 777 though.
Also when you have changed that file go to your Admin CP -> Themes -> Modify / Delete -> *Your theme* -> Go -> Save Changes. This will reload your css file.
Also the best char encoding for hebrew would be utf-8 Wink

I can't log in Sad
My forum is very screwed.

All im trying to do is to transfer all the threads and posts, to another brand new forum,
as last resort.

I dont care about users groups, setting and all, I only care about the posts.........
how to do that please?
Do you remember the character encoding you used before? If so, we can run a script to update your posts.

UTF-8 is the best overall encoding as it lets you display ALL characters in Unicode. It looks like you used a Hebrew-specific encoding (IBM 862, ISO-8859-8, ISO-8859-8-I, or Windows 1255), so all the Hebrew characters are jumbled.
im sry guys i still have a few problems :

1. I can't login as an administrator. It redirects me back as a guest.
2. My forum - (LINK) isnt showm properly on firefox.
3. UTF-8 still shows gibrish..
1) Make sure your cookie settings are right
3) Change it so ISO I believe
