I've noticed that many user's avatars are broken, including my own.
This is the error I get:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /uploads/avatars/avatar_84.png on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
In your FTP client, chmod your /uploads/avatars/ folder to 777.
They were on different permissions. CHMODDED them to 777, but it's still broken when I try to upload a new avatar.
Did you chmod both folders, /uploads/ and /uploads/avatars/ to 777?

Where does this error message appear?
I would suggest checking your .htaccess file for things that could be causing this error.
Ask your host if the CHMOD info isn't working.
Just ask them exactly that? If the CHMOD info isn't working?
Fixed. Turns out I have an .htaccess in my uploads folder that said Deny All. Erased it and it worked fine.
