- don't let users report a post multiple times
- send a thank you PM to the user once the report is read
- show a message in the post that have been reported like "this post has been reported, a Mod will come soon".
- option to configure in the ACP some "report reasons" the user can select in a dropdown menu. Also a textarea for more detailed information would be useful.
- add a CSS class for those threads that have reported posts inside, but only for moderators.
- block posts once reported so that only moderators can edit it.
- in MCP filter open reports by forum or reason for example.
Most of these features can be added via plugins, but I think are important enough to be added as core features in MyBB.
I've used phpbb3 for years and related to reports it's sad but phpbb3 is far better. Give reports some love, please.
