All the members on my website who have forgotten their password have had this issue too...It's becoming quite a hassle to manually change their passwords every time there's a problem (Thank goodness I only have around 1300 members!).

I'm running the latest MyBB 1.6.10 and I've had this issue since the 1.6.4 release. I'd really appreciate it if someone could figure it out and come up with a fix! Thanks guys

Yeah, it really would be great if this could be sorted out.

We have >16,000 users, so it is a constant burden to have to manually reset these passwords, even with dozens of moderators/admins.

Not to mention the fact that it'a infuriating and confusing for users.

What error does your members get? Try to find out which it is.

It just tells the user that the password is incorrect.

I wanted to let you all know that I was able to resolve this issue by disabling the Akismet plugin.
