Nobody should post HTML in a public forum, but sometimes it is useful. There should be a per user or per group permission so you can allow HTML for people you trust.
Even better, also a per forum option.

HTML per group would be a nice addition.
I could've sworn 1.6 had this. Maybe it was in the extra permissions mod.

Yes it is a plugin by Pirata Nervo (there is other by Labrocca), but this would be very useful as core IMO.
Well in that case, I think it should be core.
