I am a bit confused... I don't know if it was 1.8 or 2.0 Tomm was talking about but is 1.8 going to be released sometime in 2014/2013 or was he talking about 2.0? I can't find the post, it was a few days ago.

Also, I am mixed up on the hype of 2.0, what features will 1.8 have? Will it have jQuery?

He was talking about the 1.8 release. I do believe I read that it was going to have jQuery.

No all (if any) features aimed for MyBB 2.0 will be added to Mybb 1.8. Mybb 1.8 is a facelift to the current 1.6 core system, whereas MyBB 2.0 is supposed to be a whole update to the MyBB core and MyBB standards.

As 1.8 is an upgrade to the 1.6 system, we're announcing 1.8's features in a blog tour. 1.8 is still in development so other features may be added over the upcoming months.

I would imagine you guys are getting mighty sick of telling people that. Apparently people unable to find information that is easily accessible.

I think they're more irritated that it's the same person asking every week.
