I scanned around to see if there was already a solution for this, but I didn't find anything.
I am interested in using our MyBB set-up with the Portal page as our default home page instead of WordPress. The idea being to set up a specific 'news' forum, and have that be the feed that shows up on the portal page, acting as the 'blog'.
However, I do not want to lose the 'history' of our current blog post content on the WordPress install.
So, is there a script/plugin/whatever that will import blog posts?
Another idea I had was to see if the RSS to Post plugin might be usable for this purpose. WordPress exports an RSS feed, so it might be possible to just use that plug-in to slurp everything out. I just don't know how configurable it is in terms of A) getting everything that exists since the start of the blog, and B) getting all of the content from each blog post in (pics, etc).
