Is there a time out setting for new posts? I have a member that says he loses his text when he takes a lengthy period to compose a new post. Is there a way to increase the time the new post screen stays open?

nothing like this. maybe network error with your device.

One of my users is complaining about this issue. It is on a high speed cable wired PC. If he takes 5 minutes to compose a post, it wipes his content out when he hits submit. He is using IE9.

If there are no settings or tweaks for this in MyBB then it must be a browser or system issue.
