As far as I remember, he asked about good phones. He mentioned both the iPhone 5 and SG3, but I don't think said it was just those two.

Righto, my bad. In that case, get the S3.
I actually wanted to get the S3, but it was at least $150 more expensive than my S2. We buy our phones outright so as to avoid evil contracts at least in the long run.
