I keep getting an error when i activate it..its like saying a group setting doesn't exist or something like that

Did you "install" the plugin? Send me a screenshot of the error if possible.

That plugin is not compatible with 1.4.x versions. I will customize a new version for you. Let me know your requirements again. In the mean time, you can use the one that is on mods.mybboard.net which supports 1.4

Yes, I am using the one for 1.4 already. I just miss the features from the "old" one for 1.2
That was:
The name of the thread where the pic is posted and the author's name (who uploaded it) under the thumbnails.
The possibility to shorten long thread names. ("abcdefghij" to for example "abcd...". )

It would be really great if you could do that again.

I just wonder if it's possible to hide the mod for guests? Because in my board they just see red crosses instead of pics. Perhaps because they are noch allowed to see the threads?

If you want to show the image to guests, you need to go to ACP and under usergroups, you must allow "unregistered/guest" to view/download attachments.

I did! But there are still no pictures.
