Hi guys and girls,
i have a problem with the mobile site on my website
www.Backdoorgaming.com
when users try to access it on their mobiles/tablets most of them (me included) get redirect to different websites like porn sites and and websites that try to make you buy things,
i have spoke to GoDaddy who we have are hosting with and they said it is nothing to do with them and its a problem with the actual website.
i am new to websites and admin panels so i am totally lost with this problem and any help would be greatly appreciated.
thankyou
Check your .htaccess file first to look for any redirects.

ok thanks, any idea where i will find this file like i said i'm new to this stuff
thanks again
In public_html or your forum's root directory.
It may be called htaccess.txt or .htaccess and yes it would be in /public_html/ or /home/******/public_html/
****** this would be allocated by your host

Although for the htaccess to take affect, it must be called '.htaccess'. htaccess.txt alone won't take any effect.
Exactly but it might be called htaccess.txt as in (the good one) and the malicious one might be called .htaccess and changed the MyBB one back to the default.
thank you for all the reply's but im still a bit lost, i dont seem to have a .htaccess in the root but i do have a htaccess.text (content displayed below)

No issue here. Can you please run file verification from the mybb admin cp and if you have any changed files you don't recognise, then reupload a clean copy of that file.
ok so i run the File Verification and got a list of changed files, all of them were .gif's (witch i presume can't cause this problem) except for two witch it says are missing and index.php
