I meant outside of MyBB. I've already showcased my website to all forums applicable that I am a member of.

What methods are there?

If you're talking about your Tech forum, consider commenting on tech-related blogs. Put your forum in signatures on other forums. For these two methods to actually work, you'll probably be spending a lot of time posting high quality content for other people.

If you have money to spend, advertise with Google.
