I tested using [attachment=id] on different threads but it does not work. It only works on the thread that it is attached to but not other threads.

Is there anyway I can use this in other threads as well?
It's an image files and I don't think re-attaching them is a good idea.

Ideas?

Well that works perfectly with the image.

But I have a much difficult problem actually.
I am using Facebook Open Graph Meta Tags.

If I just do what you said, the attachment image would turn out as website.com/attachment.php?aid=0000xx, this is not supported by the open graph api.
