Thank you so much for posting this topic; I finally got my forums working! I was editing the database but not settings.php. Thanks again!

my forum url is /Forum ( F in Capital) and when i open /forum no response if try to login, i want to Change Forum with forum how can i change this

How cAn Change this ?

Can anyone check the problem vid my forum...??
New users are not able to register...

Just change your Board URL, cookie domain, and change the directory name...

Maybe you can give us some sort of indication as to what is wrong...?? Is it the fact it always says the password isn't complex enough, or...??

i re-installed my forum...its ready...

Well, this is weird, i have tried some things like delete settings.php and change the values throught phpmyadmin and I can't stay logged in the admin panel.
My forum URL is http://www.eldelirante.com.ar/
My cookie domain is .eldelirante.com.ar
My cookie path is /
And I still have login issues.
This are the settings of settings.php

$settings['cookiedomain'] = ".eldelirante.com.ar";
$settings['cookiepath'] = "/";
$settings['cookieprefix'] = "";

Any Ideas?

EDIT: Fixed it ! I had to use a prefix because i had another forum on the same server (not domain)
For example I have my root folder with this:
forum1
forum2
I had forum1 working just fine, but i had to use a cookie prefix for forum2, otherwise i couldn't stay logged in admin panel.

I have some problems with the cookie setting.

My forum is at www.bigbrotherafrica.com/forum
my cookie setting is /forum/
It works.

I installed a gallery, it is at www.bigbrotherafrica.com/photos
After bridge it, the gallery can't login. It needs the forum cookie set to / instead of /forum. After I set to / , gallery can login. But now , my forum users can't logout. If I change back to /forum, then gallery can't login.

What can be the solution for this?

We can't really do much about a 3rd party integration not working properly.

where to find setting.php & php myAdmin???

have a new installations and I can't log in to my admin get a error message "Your forum does not contain an Administration set. Please reupload the english language administration pack."

Then if I go to the my forum I get
/www/zxq.net/4/u/2/4u2njoy/htdocs/forum/inc/languages/english/global.lang.php does not exist.

I checked this file is there. My forum is located here:
