I was having problems with this yesterday but I thought we'd fixed them... however today's a no go.

I've checked in settings.php, I've deleted settings.php, I've cleaned out the cookies on my browser, and settings.php is 666'd.

Thanks so much man, worked like a charm! messed up my cookies when setting up a re-direct just simply cleared them went in edited the settings.php it let me log in again went to admin cp and edited them there too. Great tutorial.

I am using a cloaked url forwarding for myBB. I can get the login/logout to work correctly if I use cookie settings that match the real URL say
http://myforum.mydomain.com. Then i set the cookiedomain to .myforum.mydomain.com and when i´m accessing the site from the real url
But, when i´m using the cloaked url, and change the parameters for the website to reflect the cloaked url, i dont get logged in correctly, just retuened to the site and showed as guest. The cloaked url is like
http://cloakedurl.mycloakedurl.com. I changed the cookiedomain to .cloakedurl.mycloakedurl.com. I have tried cloakedurl.mycloakedurl.com and just mycloakedurl.com, but no luck.
Is it possible to use cloaked url formwaring?
Ok... I made the change that was pointed out to me (face palm) the other day and things were working just fine for a while.
When I tried to log in to my ACP this morning, I kept getting the login screen again. So I went and checked the cookie settings and it reverted back to "fourms".
I opened up settings.php and it was correct. So I removed settings.php from the server, clicked around a few times, then reuploaded the correct settings.php but it's not a-workin'.
Any ideas why that would have happened after (I'm assuming) a couple days?
