I can't get mine to work.

I did edit the settings.php file in /inc/ and put my .zriot.com as cookie domain and even cleared my cookies. Didn't work.

I tried deleting the settings.php file, it deleted, then came back and cleared my cookies, still doesn't work.

I can't even log into the forum now, I used to only be able to log in to my forum account, and log into acp and click a feature in ACP, then it would take me back to ACP login

Also set settings.php file permissions to 666

I followed everything in this tut, but I still have 2 problems:

1. I can login (login sucessful informed) but after logging in, the welcome box (login - register) still appear, my username only appear when I reload the page!

2. Sometime I can't logout (althought have logout sucessful imformed)

Can anyone help me with this bug???

Hi guys!

I've been using the forum for a while now and I'm really pleased with it!

After updating to 1.6.8 some weird login/logout issues has been haunting the forum...

I've gone thru the first post a couple of times and I last checked it 5 minutes ago

1. First of all, IF there is another user logged in to the forum and I log on to the forum I get the other users username and PM total in the menubar where the my username and my PM total should show up, but when I click somewhere in the forum it changes back to the real user.

2. The other problem is the login / logout problem, sometimes it works like a charm, other times it gets really weird depending on what page I'm on... ( It's seems to be random! )

I first login from http://www.rovfisk.dk/index.php and click on something I'm still logged in, and if I go to http://www.rovfisk.dk it all goes nuts, then I´m not logged in, and if I click on something I´m logged in, and if I do it the other way around it´s all the same...

I hope you guys get it somehow, it's quite hard to explain it to someone!

I have a problem with just Explorer 9 not allowing any login. It just goes right back to the Welcome Guest page. Chrome and FF work every time. I usually use Chrome and I don't recall it doing this during testing of Explorer prior to going live with my site. Could setting up the domains effect this?

Not sure if these settings would have anything to do with it but I think they are correct. Any ideas?

I am using MyBB version 1.6.9
My website domain is www.afksite.net or www.afksite.com.
Here is the exact version of Explorer 9 that is giving me this problem.

You should use

$settings['cookiedomain'] = ".afksite.com";
$settings['cookiepath'] = "/";
$settings['cookieprefix'] = "";

Choose the .net or the .com, you can only use one.
