MyBB 1.6+
Can log into the forum part and post but not the admin cp part. This part keeps referring to the Error occurred: 403 - forbidden page whatever I put in. Of course I used the real username and password too.
I have tried many things like:
1. reset cache and cookies
2. looked at cookie settings which has the correct index.php
3. cookiesettings.php
4. loginconvert.php
Help is appreciated.

I think we have a real issue here.
Problem still persists clean install of MyBB 1.6 with only 1 adjustment in the inc folder namely the config.php file to allow more connections.
Update: After resetting the forum password I cannot login at all on forum or admin. This was temporary now I can again but admin stays closed for me. Although I can log into the database phpadmin and got an export of the database just in case.
Should I reinstall not losing all my posts?
I am having problems with logging in. It works on firefox, but not chrome or internet explorer. I can give you the URL, but i would perfer if i private message you. This is because it's on a test machine using my local IP. I can message you the IP and it is also port forwarded also. Thanks
EDIT: I got it fixed, but chrome is not working.
EDIT AGAIN: I got this fixed. It was because of local host i guess?
I'm still having this problem. The info in the first post isn't enough.

I just upgraded to 1.6.10, and everything seemed to be working fine... except for logging in/out. I checked everything listed in the original post here. It's all right.
When I try to log out or in (or register) now, I just get a white screen. If you want to see it, the forum is:

I can make a test account, too, if necessary, but you can see the problem just by trying to register.

Ah, if this helps any, when I try to logout in Chrome, instead of a white screen, I'm getting

We also cannot access user profiles, so maybe that takes it beyond just a login/logout problem?
