I'm interested in learning on designing mybb themes..
Does anyone mind if I watch them make a simple mybb on teamviewer?

Already looked at lots of tutorials.
I'm not really sure what you expect to see from watching them through teamviewer. It's all just html/css and images (and maybe some javascript). None of which you can really learn just by watching someone make one simple them (not mention you would have to watch for hours).
Watching an experienced designer through teamviewer will gain you any knowledge because you won't be learning anything.
I'm not sure if you've seen this tutorial yet but this one
here covers the basics and is a video.
Perhaps if they explained to you step by step what they were doing, then you would learn. That's how I first started to learn to code.
