my goal in removing it was actually not to get rid of the mybb, but the others (Searcch results, parsing time, memory usage, etc.). I couldn't figure out how to separate the two.

Thanks a lot. This forum is the most helpful I have ever seen of a forum. To go out of their way to help, instead of just posting links to previous answers that are vaguely relevant while saying to figure it out yourself.
