I'm Having the same exact problem. Has anyone found the solution to this issue?

My website is: megakraft1.tk
You can see that the forums are still working properly as the portal is still displaying the most recent news article.

There is something wrong with the htaccess. When I remove it, the forums work fine.
The problem is I am using htaccess to push the portal as the mainpage.
Anyone who can shed some light on this
If you have MyBB Search Engine Friendly URLs (thread-1.html) set to enabled/auto you also have to have the corresponding rewrite rules in your .htaccess. Alternatively disable this MyBB setting entirely.

The forum jump menu is coded in such a way that Google SEO relies on Redirect instead of replacing those URLs directly.

I have this exact same issue, tried disabling / toggling on/off  "Enable search engine friendly URLs?" but the same error www.xyz.com/forum-undefined.html

so tell me what rule to edit or add in htaccess?
^ apart from turning off the SEF URLs,
rename .htaccess file (eg. htaccess.feb2016) and navigate to plugins section of your forum
there Google SEO plugin provides required set of rewrite rules for .htaccess file
create a new .htaccess file with those given rules and check if the issue gets fixed.
.M. tried what you said , but same.

But if i change theme to mybb stock default and use forum jump then it works

Thanks .M. his provided solution works. Go to theme template - > forumjump_advanced and revert it to original  Blush
^ you have to revert the forumjump templates to their original version
forumjump_advanced & forumjump_special templates
