Hello everyone.

An acquaintance of mine is having an issue with a MyBB board.
He wishes to delete his account but the administrator of said MyBB board is refusing to grant his request and there's no way for a user to delete their account themselves on that board.
Personal squabbles or some such.

Anyway, I was curious as to whether there was a way to go above the administrator's head to delete an account or is it solely up to the administrator of a board?
This should be something which the person takes up with the forum owner. We have no control over what the administrator does on their own board, and we don't host forums either, so it's pretty much out of our territory. If he really wants to have his account removed, and changing his email address/username on the forum doesn't suffice, he should take it up a with a solicitor who can advise him if he can take legal action against the forum owner.

Alright.
Thank you for the help.
