MyBB Community Forums

I recently switched to myBB from a different free message board format, and things were working great until last night/this morning. Someone was trying to join and they encountered the error and told me about it. Thought maybe it was a fluke, but I'm getting it too.

I'm running myBB 1.6.8 with no active plugins.

Can anyone help me figure out how to fix this? Thanks.

Your MySQL server settings in inc/config.php are either incorrect or your host is experiencing issues with it's database server. Verify your database connection settings.
