i installed a new theme and the icons are not showing up they are showing red x's

What theme is it?
That's fine - I thought you may not have it as the default theme.
Your top icons should be located here: ./images/xero/toplinks/calendar.gif
Copy the contents of the ./images/toplinks/ directory into ./images/xero/toplinks/
