Hi..i've been trying to install mybb for two days now. I got all mybb files extracted and uploaded to public_html on my server. I got SQL database. I still cannot see mybb Welcome page when I type in my website/install. Any thoughts?
You've uploaded the documentation instead of the contents of the folder "Upload".
For some reason you've uploaded the Documentation folder. You want to extract the contents of the Upload folder to public_html.
Thanks, but I made sure I uploaded the contents of 'upload' folder.
But still I cannot get to install mybb page of my domain.
I can see files in my server's public_html. They are.. from the top there's a folder 'admin' to last file 'xmlhttp.php
You won't be able to view your forum as the Documentation is overriding the index file for the forum. You should remove the Documentation from public_html, including index.html.

Yes I deleted all Documentation files including index_html file from public_html. Still get redirected to welcome mybb screen
